At McMahons Point Community Preschool, our vision for reconciliation is for educators, families and children to learn about the true histories of Australia and the diverse cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We strive to create an environment where understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and perspectives are integrated throughout our educational program. Â We aim to provide opportunities for staff, children, families, and educators to build respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, promoting awareness of reconciliation as a shared journey within the local community. Â We will actively be informed by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices, collaborating with them to ensure cultural safety and respect. Together, we will create a preschool environment that acknowledges the past and embraces a future of unity and understanding. Â Â Â Â Â Â
