We at Master Kid continuously believe that reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people is a shared responsibility of everyone, led by non-Indigenous people in relationships and collaboration with First Nations peoples. Reconciliation looks like everyone uniting as one through learning about First Nations peoples and cultures. We always acknowledge the true histories of Australia, pay respects to the Gadigal people as the Traditional Owners of the Land and create an environment that acknowledges the unique place Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures hold in Australia.  At Master Kid, we continue to strive to foster an understanding of  the First Peoples who have walked here before us and continue to today on the Land on which we gather today. We commit to reciprocating meaningful, secure relationships with First Nations families at our centre. We will ensure our educational program is focused on providing all children with equal and equitable opportunities and outcomes, for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and all children.   Our Reconciliation Action Plan shows our dedication to reconciliation. We are committed to continuously reflect on our actions as we work towards creating a culturally safe and aware working and learning environment. We believe a reconciled Australia is where all people feel welcomed, understood and proud of who they are and able to share their knowledge and life experiences as they choose. We hope for all families attending our centre to have a sense of belonging to our centre community.       Â
