Our Vision for Reconciliation – Guardian Maroubra East
At Guardian Maroubra East, our vision for reconciliation is to meaningfully embed the values of awareness, acknowledgement, and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, past and present, and their cultures within our service. We are committed to contributing to a fair, equitable, and inclusive Australia for all.
We believe that every child deserves the best possible start to their educational journey. Through access to high-quality early childhood education and care, we aim to ensure that all children and families experience a strong sense of Being, Belonging, and Becoming.
We are proud to lead with our values and recognise the importance of building and sustaining respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. This includes nurturing genuine partnerships with families, children, educators, and the wider community.
We respectfully acknowledge the Gadigal and Bidjigal peoples of the Eora Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which Guardian Maroubra East stands. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who walk with us today.
