Cambrai Primary School and Preschool’s vision for reconciliation is to inspire students and staff to learn about and actively engage with First Nations peoples’ cultures, perspectives and histories to ensure that all students understand the importance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples connections to Lands, cultures, communities and languages and we are confident to speak passionately to promote equality, equity and social justice.
We role model to our community and bring reconciliation to life every day for staff and students and families though our actions, our teaching, our relationships and our connection to community and families. We ensure First Nation perspectives are embedded everyday through our curriculum, our learning environment, our play equipment and our student leadership roles.
We actively look for unique opportunities to learn with and acknowledge the local First Nations community to include their perspective, stories and history - and invite all families to participate and join us in our reconciliation journey.
