St Teresa's Catholic College

In “Daring the Dream”, St Teresa’s Catholic College, Noosaville, is firmly committed to a united and reconciled Australia. We acknowledge that dispossession was historically the catalyst for wrongs, hurt and pain inflicted upon Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and look to a future of hope, cooperation and mutual respect between all Australians.  

From this grounding in truth, St Teresa’s Catholic College is inspired to wholeheartedly adopt our vision for reconciliation by first and foremost acknowledging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Custodians of the longest continuing cultures on Earth. Because of this, we are excited for the journey the College shares with the local Kabi Kabi/Gubbi Gubbi people to create a community where all students are provided with an educational experience that draws on our shared histories and promotes actions of reconciliation.  

Emboldened by our school motto, to ‘Dare the Dream,’ and our Marist and Teresian charisms, we take steps in meaningful partnership with all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to create rich, purposeful, and sustained change into the future.
