Donvale Primary School

At DPS, we will create a school community where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and contributions are valued and respected. We will embed reconciliation into teaching, learning, and leadership to foster empathy, cultural awareness, and pride in our diverse school community.     We will build relationships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, ensuring their voices shape our policies, programs, and events. We will consult with Elders and community members to create meaningful engagement and honour Traditional Custodians.     We will inspire all members of the DPS community to take informed action toward reconciliation. By reflecting on our achievements and embedding culturally responsive practices, we will create a lasting legacy of respect, equity, and understanding for current and future generations.
