Our vision for reconciliation is to create integral awareness of and share respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. To value Country and to gratefully acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander custodianship. We want our students and school community to be immersed in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and stories, and to recognise histories and perspectives in our learning and appreciate that the way we learn and how we all strive together towards reconciliation will empower the futures of all our young people. We care for Country through the planting that happens on our school grounds and growing our knowledge and practices in relation to these. We wish to understand and respect local and wider Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders peoples’ histories and learn about significant sites through story and excursions where appropriate.
