VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Yarrawarrah Public School, we are deeply committed to reconciliation through our inclusive educational environment built on mutual respect, where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities and cultures are recognised, valued and celebrated.  Yarrawarrah Public School does, and always will, acknowledge, value and engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, stories, histories, and ways of being.  We recognise the importance of respectful collaboration and partnership with  Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members We continue to extend on our relationships with First Nations peoples that are based on trust and respect, and free of racism. As a school, we will always continue to consult our school community, reflect on and improve our practices, policies, and procedures.   We acknowledge that reconciliation is everyone’s business and take a whole-school, community approach to ensuring that reconciliation is a priority.
