Our vision for reconciliation is a nation that embraces unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and all other Australians. A country where First Nations cultures can be fully recognised and valued for the richness they provide, where equity and equality can be achieved for all Australians. A place where our nations historical past is understood and accepted and where, as a community and nation, we move towards a brighter future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and heritages are a proud part of our national identity. We believe a reconciled Australia is the community coming together in unity with one another, building and strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and Non-Indigenous Australians. Australia is a country that respects all First Nations Peoples and embraces inclusivity and knowledges, and shares this with future generations.  At our service, we actively promote reconciliation through our philosophy and Acknowledgement of Country. Our educators promote inclusion through learning experiences and authentic resources  At LMEP, our sphere of influence begins with the children we educate and care for, extends to their families, and then flows into the local community. We further extend our commitment to engaging with local First Nations organisations, and community groups  Â
