VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Presbyterian Ladies College's vision for reconciliation is to create a learning environment where our entire community unite in acknowledging and learning from the histories and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.     We are committed to truth-telling and education. We will deepen our understanding of Australia's full history, including the impacts of colonisation and ongoing discrimination. Our RAP will be led by active participation by fostering a culturally safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where all voices are heard and valued.  We will celebrate contributions, recognising the leadership, resilience, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, both past and present.     Situated on Whadjuk Noongar Country, PLC Perth honours the enduring connection of Noongar people to this Land and acknowledges their continuing contributions. Through our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we invite every member of the PLC community to join us in building a future grounded in equity, respect, and unity.
