Bright Beginnings Early Years Learning Centre (BBEYLC) is committed to continuously working towards Reconciliation and to build meaningful relationships between First Nations people and non-Indigenous people. BBEYLC's journey towards reconciliation will acknowledge the past and recognising the true histories of First Nations peoples, respecting their cultures and addressing inequality and inequity.
Our Narragunnawali Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) will guide us to creating a culturally responsive and safe place for all within the BBEYLC and greater community. We acknowledge and value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and perspectives and will continually respectfully embed these perspectives in our curriculum planning and practices in consultation with community. We will acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land in which our centre is located on and be committed to the professional development of all staff to ensure an inclusive environment that will support learning and growth.
