Mini Masterminds Thornleigh is committed to reconciliation and shares a vision for respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people. We envision a fair, equal and equitable Australia that acknowledges the true histories and recognises the injustices that First Nations peoples continue to experience since colonisation. In our endeavour, we will actively strive towards positive race relations whilst dismantling negative biases and beliefs and unfailingly act with institutional integrity. In order to build a nation strengthened by respectful relationships between the wider Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, reconciliation must live in the heart, head, hands, and spirit of every Australian as we move forward.

We aim to provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and educators with equal and equitable educational opportunities as well as a diverse and inclusive workplace that is not only culturally safe but also rich and proud. We are committed to collaborating in a respectful way with the local Dharug and Guringai peoples and organisations within the local community. Mini Masterminds Waitara acknowledges the deep connections Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have with the lands, waters, and communities the diversity of First Nations peoples and cultures. 

Our service acknowledges that the RAP is a continual process that we will actively work on individually and as a team as our centre evolves and grows. It is our vision for educators to be dedicated to implementing respectful practices that extend upon, celebrate, and reflect an inclusive environment, cultural acceptance and a sense of positive unity across our service and care.
