At Eden Academy Edmonton, we are committed to walking together on a journey of reconciliation that is grounded in respect, understanding, and genuine connection with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Nations custodians of this Land and honour their continuing connections to Country, culture, language, and community. We believe reconciliation begins with learning listening, and building strong, respectful relationships.      As an early learning community, we have a responsibility to nurture children's understanding of fairness, belonging, and respect from the very beginning of their lives. We strive to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in our everyday practises in meaningful and age-appropriate ways, supporting children to develop a sense of identity, empathy, and appreciation for Australia's rich and diverse histories.      Our vision is to create a culturally safe and inclusive environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, educators, and community members feel welcomed, respected, and valued.
