Our vision for reconciliation as a centre is to create an environment where children learn to respect, understand, and celebrate diverse cultures, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, contributions and histories.   Our vision aims to embed the values of reconciliation in early childhood, helping children grow with a foundation of empathy, respect, and a commitment to inclusivity. Our goal is to incorporate learning opportunities to deepen our understandings of First Nations perspectives and to extend on children, staff, families and the wider communities learning and implement values and knowledge to create respect for First Nations peoples.   Our priority is to develop meaningful partnerships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and Elders to build meaningful relationships. This will support everyone to connect with First Nations cultures in an authentic and respectful way.   Our commitment as a team is to provide meaningful opportunities to deepen staffs' knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, intergenerational trauma, and the principles of reconciliation.
