We will build respectful relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and all other Australians, walking together in our reconciliation journey.
We will continue to learn alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and children openly, honestly and with integrity. We will always be mindful to include the perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within our practices.
We will support educators to gain further knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures, respectfully sharing this knowledge with children and families within an environment where all children can develop to their full potential at their own pace and in their own way.
All children need to have a sense of belonging and strong connections with their learning community to confidently interact with their world, have confidence in themselves and their families and feel comfortable in their surroundings.
Our reconciliation action plan aligns with our service philosophy by focusing on providing a safe, nurturing, respectful and inclusive environment, whilst advocating for the rights and dignity of all children.
Our reconciliation action plan continues to develop allowing us to continue to learn and grow our knowledge whilst achieving our goals towards reconciliation.
