Our vision for reconciliation at Eden Academy Junction Village is to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in our everyday curriculum. We will educate children, educators, families and the wider community about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we play and learn. We are committed to journeying together to a shared future of reconciliation in education and to continue building relationships with the Local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. We will strive in our reconciliation journey with all children, educators and community for a better understanding of, and respect for, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. We aim to develop an enriched appreciation of First Nations peoples cultural heritages and teach children, tomorrows leaders, the importance of reconciliation. Â
