Kids Academy Craigieburn respects and recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of this nation and the Wurrundjeri people as the Traditional custodians of the Land on which our service is located. Our vision for reconciliation is for children, families, educators and the wider community to respectfully engage with our journey towards reconciliation on a personal and professional front. Our reconciliation journey will guide current and future generations to acknowledge and recognise Australia's true histories, and cultures and perspectives of the First Peoples of Australia. We are passionate about providing equal and equitable educational opportunities to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and all people. We aim to educate children about reconciliation in education whilst incorporating a sense of being, belonging and becoming at our centre. Â Â We at Kids Academy Craigieburn also provide children with a range of learning experiences in a respectful ways which enhances their knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples heritages and encourages connectedness to First Nations Peoples within our centre and the broader community, maintaining positive relationships and links to the Wurrundjeri people which is being respectfully embedded throughout our centre's curriculums and daily routines.
