At Insight Early Learning Burwood, reconciliation is a living commitment that shapes our daily practice. We acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land where we learn and play, and we recognise the unbroken connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples hold to Country, culture and community, and we commit to ensuring their voices, histories and perspectives are valued and respected. Reconciliation at Burwood is not a one-off project but is woven into our curriculum, routines, environment and relationships. Families and community are central to our journey, and we work in partnership with families, Elders and Aboriginal organisations to guide our practices. Educators engage in reflection and professional learning to strengthen cultural competence and ensure reconciliation is lived authentically. For us, reconciliation is the heart of who we are, shaping a service where every child feels belonging, pride and respect, and contributing to a more inclusive and just future for all Australians.
