Our vision for reconciliation is for the Wings Early Learning community to acknowledge and respect the cultures and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. As an organisation, we are committed to raising awareness and building connections around reconciliation with children, families and the wider communities, aiming to encourage the recognition of our shared true histories. Â We will continue to demonstrate respect through gaining a deeper understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of knowing and learning, and respectfully reflecting that knowledge throughout our curriculum, pedagogy and service environments. We endeavour to form genuine and respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and local community groups. We will continue to seek out opportunities to meet with community groups and participate in community events where we can build on our knowledge and understanding of how best to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our centre environments, programs and practices.
