We at Edge Bilinga acknowledge and respect the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which our centre stands, the Minjungbal People. We are committed to deepening understanding and appreciation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's cultures and histories among the children, staff and families within our service. Through respectfully incorporating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives into our daily learning and inviting Aboriginal and Torres Strait community members to be part of our learning journey, we will value and celebrate cultural diversity of the First Peoples of Australia, creating an inclusive environment.
We will actively seek to build relationships and collaborate with First Nations People within our community, to recgonise their knowledge and contributions. Together we will strive towards reconciliation, promoting respect, and nurturing a sense of unity among all children in our centre.
