VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Palmwoods Early Learning Centre (PELC) acknowledges and respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on Gubbi Gubbi/Kabi Kabi Land and all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across Australia. It is our vision for reconciliation to hold strong relationships with the local First Nations community with equal and equitable opportunities for all.

We strive to engage with the local First Nations community, respectfully listening to their voices and sharing learnings with educators, families, and wider community through accurate and meaningful teaching and education opportunities that build an understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures.

PELC is committed to reconciliation, striving for an Australia that is fair and just, with equal and equitable opportunities and outcomes for all people.

PELC recognises that reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians is the responsibility of non-Indigenous people. Previously Published Vision for Reconciliation
