Our vision for Great Beginnings Kelso is to build respectful and meaningful relationships between the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community. We endeavor to continue learning and collaborating with First Nation Elders and members of the community to ensure that we are respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives. We will provide children, staff, families and the wider community with opportunities to meaningfully engage with First Nations peoples and cultures, authentically, holistically and in respectful ways. We will provide opportunities to deepen our knowledge of the living cultures, stories and histories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We are grateful for the opportunity to work, learn, and grow connections together as a united community.
