At SCECS OSHC St Therese Mascot, our vision for reconciliation is to walk together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and all Australians, guided by respect, awareness, and shared responsibility. We aim to foster a culture that acknowledges truth, embraces fairness, and promotes deep understanding of Australias First Nations histories and living cultures.
We are committed to creating a learning environment where reconciliation is lived through relationships, actions, and everyday interactions. Children are offered organic and enriching experiences that nurture their connection to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives through story, artistic expression and connection to Country.
By embedding respect and cultural awareness in our daily practice, we support children in developing a strong sense of belonging, being, and becoming. Our curriculum and routines reflect our dedication to reconciliation, as we continue building meaningful relationships with the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation and the wider communityshaping a future grounded in unity, understanding, and care.
