At Papilio Box Hill North, our vision for reconciliation is for all children to gain a deeper understanding of, and respect for, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, perspectives, and cultures. By teaching all children to acknowledge and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures and histories, we hope to foster respect for others and for the diverse identities and perspectives of First Nations peoples of Australia. Â We will build meaningful and respectful relationships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities. We commit our staff to learning First Nations curriculum and pedagogy that we can embed into learning experiences leading our students to a deeper understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives. We will encourage more involvement with the local First Nations communities and strengthen our understanding of the Land on which we live, learn and play. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
