Nagambie Pre-School and Early Learning Services vision for reconciliation is for our network and wider community to embrace all First Nations cultures positively and respectfully. Our vision includes reflecting on and drawing from the Five Dimensions of Reconciliation which will ensure that all Australians understand and value First Nations peoples' cultures, rights, histories, and experiences, leading to stronger relations built on trust and respect, free from racism. We will uphold equality and equity by ensuring all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and staff within our service have complete access outcomes for success within our programs and practice and that their rights and cultures are universally recognised and respected. Our Service will demonstrate integrity by participating in reconciliation events and educating all children and families, both First Nations and non-Indigenous about reconciliation. We will value and embrace Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories as part of a shared national identity. We acknowledge our nation's true histories and commit to ensuring that past wrongs are never repeated, believing that by embedding all dimensions, Australians can reconcile and heal through acceptance and unity.Â
