Our vision at Great Beginnings Epping is to raise awareness, recognition and appreciation of the contributions, customs and ways of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples histories, cultures and perspectives, and to respectfully embed this into our daily lives. The early childhood curriculum talks about embedding it into our everyday practices so we can improve our lifestyles and educate children. We at Great Beginnings Epping, will work towards reaching out to building strong relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community by reaching out to them through the local council and our existing families. We believe that by collaborating with First Nation peoples, we can empower all children to be culturally responsive and build an awareness towards the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culture and traditions.Â
