At Morning Star Bilingual Early Learning Centre, our vision for reconciliation is to walk respectfully and thoughtfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, honouring the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of the First Nations peoples of Australia.
We are committed to creating a culturally inclusive and safe environment where all children, families, and educators are encouraged to listen, learn, and grow together. Through meaningful connections, reflective practice, and ongoing dialogue, we aim to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in our daily routines, curriculum, and community engagement.
We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we play and learn. We pay our deepest respect to Elders past and present and recognise that reconciliation is an ongoing journey—one that begins with open hearts, curious minds, and a shared commitment to truth, respect, and unity.
By nurturing empathy and understanding from the earliest years, we hope to inspire the next generation to value diversity, celebrate culture, and contribute to a more just and reconciled Australia.
