VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Mini Masterminds Riverstone, our vision for reconciliation is grounded in a commitment to fostering a culturally responsive and respectful community. We strive to create an environment where the cultures, histories, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are recognized, respected, and valued.

We are dedicated to respectfully embedding culturally responsive practices within our curriculum, promoting understanding, and establishing meaningful connections with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Our goal is to ensure that children, families, and staff develop a deep appreciation for First Nations peoples’ perspectives.

Our reconciliation journey is guided by the principles of respect, inclusion, and education. We prioritize cultural safety, providing professional development for staff, and respectfully integrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives across all areas of learning.

Through our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we commit to continuous growth, setting clear goals, and measuring our progress. We actively seek guidance from local Elders and communities to maintain authenticity in our approach.

By fostering understanding, empathy, and mutual respect, we create and maintain a learning environment where all individuals are valued and empowered. Our vision is to build a community that acknowledges the past, embraces diversity, and contributes to a more inclusive future for all.
