VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision for reconciliation is to nurture a genuine respect for, and understanding of, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures within our childcare community. We are dedicated to creating an inclusive and caring environment where the rich histories, traditions, and contributions of the Traditional Custodians of this Land, the Wonnarua people, are recognised, valued, and celebrated. We are committed to embedding the principles of reconciliation into our everyday practices, ensuring that children, families, and educators have meaningful opportunities to learn about, appreciate, and connect with the cultural heritage of First Nations peoples. Through this, we aim to build strong, respectful relationships that honour the importance of Country, culture, and community. As part of our ongoing journey, we will continue to collaborate with local Aboriginal organisations and Elders to ensure our actions are guided by authentic voices and perspectives. Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) will be a living, evolving document, reflecting our sustained commitment to reconciliation and our responsibility to make lasting, meaningful contributions that respect the past, empower the present, and inspire the future of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
