VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Quantin Binnah, reconciliation means fostering meaningful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community, cultural respect, and an inclusive society built on mutual understanding and shared values. Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) reflects our commitment to respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives, particularly honouring the Bunurong people, the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their neighbours, the Wadawurrung people.  We provide staff with cultural responsiveness training, developed in consultation with local First Nations communities, including the Bunurong and Wadawurrung peoples. This equips our team to deepen our understanding of and respect for their rich histories and traditions.   We respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures, histories and perspectives creating culturally rich environments that celebrate the heritage of the Bunurong and Wadawurrung peoples.  By collaborating with these communities and broader First Nations groups, we advance our shared journey toward reconciliation, unity, and respect.
