Koomail Tardy Community Centre's vision for reconciliation is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures and perspectives to be respectfully integrated into our programs and the community centre.
We continue to build and grow connections with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and community members, respectfully sharing our learnings with children through meaningful experiences and including opportunities to be taught by First Nations people. We actively work towards supporting children's understanding of reconciliation and building meaningful, respectful relationships between First Nations peoples and the wider Australian community.
