At Green Garden Childcare Marsden Park, reconciliation is a central component of our vision of change. We believe that every child within Australia deserves the best start in life and as educators we play a crucial role in educating Australia’s future leaders through our early education program.

We recognise that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the Land. We acknowledge that through their histories, we can explore Australia’s rich past, creating a sense of belonging for the First Nation children, employees and families within our Green Garden Community.

At Green Garden, we envision reconciliation as a crucial aspect in learning about the cultures, histories and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and wish to build a culture where every child, family and community is empowered, respected and an active part of Green Garden’s shared journey with reconciliation.

Our meaningful actions will help shape our reconciliation journey in the large community we are a part of. Nurturing relationships with children, families, community and employees, we will create change and embrace everyone to ensure a sense of belonging is always paramount here at Green Garden.
