Our vision for Reconciliation is a future where School of Alternative Learning Settings embrace, celebrate and deeply value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and true histories with integrity and respect.   We will ensure our schools are built on a foundation of trust and genuine relationships, so that a two-way sense of belonging can always exists in our school communities.   We will provide opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and all students  to equally and equitably participate in all aspects of education. We strive forwidespread acceptance of the harm that past policies and practices in education caused, and that educators in our centres work together to ensure we build a united future through processes of Truth-telling and healing.    In our reconciliation journey, we will work towards a sense of unity is built across Australia and contributes to a shared national identity.      Â
