Our commitment is to ensure equal educational opportunities and outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families, fostering an inclusive, culturally safe, rich and proud environment. The plan adheres to Reconciliation Australias established themes of relationships, respect, and opportunities. This aligns with our organisational values of social equity, participation, cultural inclusion, and the protection and safety of all children, as well as mutual respect and quality care. We are committed to seeking out and participating in opportunities that raise awareness among our staff and the community about the ongoing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and provide opportunities to build respectful relationships between our centre community and the local First Nations community. We acknowledge that reconciliation is an ongoing journey, and as an organisation, we are committed to continual growth and learning. We will actively seek opportunities to deepen our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples histories, cultures, and contributions and respectfully include these learnings into our practice.
