Our vision for reconciliation is grounded in respect, equity, equality and cultural safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and all children. We strive to create early learning environments where every First Nations child feels welcome, safe, and celebrated. All children should learn about the diverse histories and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This shared learning helps build understanding, respect, and stronger connections across communities.  

We recognise the importance of truth-telling and the need to acknowledge the impacts of our shared history. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices will be central to the development and review of our vision, and we are committed to culturally respectful processes that support trust, collaboration, and self-determination.
