Here at Busy Bees Cranbourne, we believe that a childs understanding of the reconciliation journey begins with actions demonstrated by us as Educators. We recognise that there is need to continue to make small and significant changes to our practice to create an environment for children to respectfully learn about, understand and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives and cultures. Our commitment at Busy Bees Cranbourne is to provide a safe and equitable platform for children to acknowledge and learn about Bunurong Land, the Traditional Custodians, the true histories, and rich cultures. Implementing our Reconciliation Action Plan will continue to provide all children, families and educators with the opportunities to foster deeper relationship and engagement with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, and to work together to build an equitable and socially just nation.
