Here at Gardenia Early Learning Granville, our vision for reconciliation is declared with the intent of embracing unity and respect between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider Australian community. We are working towards developing and deepening understanding of the histories, cultures, and continuing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We envision a national culture where equity, truthful acceptance of shared histories, and active acknowledgement of diversities is at the fore front of our practices. Embedding these practices and actions in our everyday operations is important to us in order to provide a culturally safe space for all children and families. This will help us to establish new partnerships, celebrate existing relationships and create a future where there are more equal, equitable and culturally responsive opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and communities to participate in in Early Childhood programs.
