Our vision for reconciliation is an Australia where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are recognised as being the First Nations people and as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we learn and play. We wish for an Australia where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past and present are respected and their knowledge is embraced and incorporated into our nations continuing story, especially into the learning and experiences of our youngest citizens. Â
We are committed to working in a respectful way with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People, organisations and communities which will be shown through our beliefs around children, community, family, educators and environment:   Â
 * We believe children are capable learners who actively contribute to their learning. We will provide opportunities both planned and spontaneous for  children to learn about and embrace Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples culture as an integral part of our nations past, present and future.     Â
* All children can develop confidence and a positive self-esteem through an environment that is secure and supportive of culture and background particularly our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.         Â
* We are dedicated to learning about and acknowledging the Traditional Owners of the Land. Â
 * Our educators value and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and perspectives and strive to continually learn more so we can embed culture into our everyday practices, curriculum and our being, belonging and becoming.       Â
* We believe by embedding  Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our environment, our children can develop understanding and respect.  Â
