VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Village Early Education Eureka, our vision for reconciliation is grounded in respect, inclusion, and a deep acknowledgment of the enduring connection that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have with the Land.

We recognise our responsibility to learn about, honour, and teach the true histories, cultures, and contributions of Australia’s First Nations peoples. Through our practice and pedagogy, we are committed to respectfully fostering relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and community members within our local area.

Our service will be a place where reconciliation is visible, lived, and understood. Everyone who enters our space will feel our commitment to reconciliation through the relationships we build, the stories we share, and the respect we show.

We are dedicated to supporting our educators to deepen their knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures, so they may share this respectfully and meaningfully with children, families, and the wider community.

Together, we will walk the path of reconciliation—acknowledging the past, acting in the present, and inspiring a more inclusive future.
