VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision for reconciliation at Dido Street Early Learning Centre is to acknowledge, respect, and celebrate the cultures, histories, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We recognise that reconciliation is an ongoing journey and are committed to growing individually, as a team, and as an organisation.

We aim to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and practices respectfully throughout our programs, fostering a deep sense of understanding, belonging, and cultural appreciation.

Through meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, families, and staff, we seek to create opportunities for shared learning, dialogue, and collaboration. By nurturing respect for culture and heritage from the earliest years of education, we hope to develop empathy, awareness, and a lifelong commitment to reconciliation.

Our goal is to contribute positively to a more inclusive, equitable, and reconciled Australia, ensuring that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices are heard, valued, and celebrated in all that we do.
