Our vision for reconciliation is for our community to value and recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia. Through coming together in our respectful practices, where acceptance and inclusion promote equality, we lay the foundations for a more open and understanding generation with respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community. We will continue to actively engage with local Elders to respectfully include their perspectives as we journey towards reconciliation and the ongoing engagement, learning, reflection, action and teaching it involves.
