Our vision for reconciliation is to be conscious, meaningful, authentic, and respectful towards the First Peoples of Australia. We strive to continue honoring and acknowledging the diverse ways of being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through shared storytelling and interactions, embedding these stories as a vital part of teaching and learning. We recognize that learning is interconnected and cannot occur in isolation, which is why we promote a community-driven approach to reconciliation one where the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are genuinely heard, valued, and respected. We aspire to create a centre that supports every individual in deepening their understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and perspectives.
