Our vision for reconciliation is an Australia that celebrates unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and all other Australians a nation built on equality, equity, and mutual respect. We envision a country that acknowledges and accepts our shared histories, works to remove racial divides, and strengthens its identity through respectful relationships and understanding. Within Small Steps Early Learning Centre, this vision translates into a commitment to providing fair, equal and equitable educational opportunities and outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and communities. We  foster an educational environment  that is not only culturally safe but also culturally rich, inclusive, and proud. We are dedicated to building respectful and collaborative partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, organisations, and communities.  We will achieve this by  recognising the richness, diversity, and ongoing nature of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures and histories and honouring their deep and enduring connections to lands, waters, and communities.  Our vision for a reconciled Australia is one where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures are valued, respected, and celebrated across all aspects of society andthe rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are acknowledged, respected, and protected under Australian law.  All children including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children have equal and equitable opportunities to live meaningful, healthy lives that reflect and sustain their cultures. We recognise that our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is an ongoing journey one that evolves as we learn and grow individually, as a team, and as an organisation. Â
