VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision for reconciliation is to create a community where the histories, cultures, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are respected, valued, and engaged with. We acknowledge the injustices of the past and are committed to fostering equity, equality, justice for and respectful partnerships with First Nations peoples. Through continuous education, cultural responsiveness, and inclusive practices, we strive to build a future of mutual respect, understanding, and collaboration. Together, we continue to create a lasting impact on the reconciliation journey and a shared sense of belonging for all. At My Little Feet Early Learning we provide a culturally responsive environment for all families, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families. Our qualified educators deliver an inclusive learning environment with a strong focus on reconciliation in education. My Little Feet Pimlico’s vision for reconciliation begins with our acknowledgement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of Lands across Australia. We promote reconciliation between the wider community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in support of positive change both now and in the future. Our Reconciliation Action Plan is our ongoing commitment to fostering a higher level of knowledge and understanding in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and contributions, and to implementing meaningful initiatives within our early learning service to nurture our strong links to the local and wider First Nations community.
