Through these relationships, we seek to deepen our understanding of their values, traditions, and perspectives, and respectfully embed their voices throughout our centres practices and environment. We believe a reconciled Australia will acknowledge the histories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, honour their enduring connections to Country, and actively work toward justice, equity, equality, and meaningful partnerships for a shared, reconciled future. Our service commits to building collaborative relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community to respectfully embed First Nations perspectives into our curriculum, create culturally safe and inclusive learning environments, and ensure children develop a strong sense of connection, respect, and belonging from the earliest years. We understand our role in reconciliation as fostering respect, inclusion, and cultural understanding by respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives in our daily practice and relationships.
