At Goodstart Early Learning Flinders St we advocate for meaningful understanding and respect for the cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and all cultures within the local community. Â
Educators, children, and families work together to engage in learning experiences that deepen our knowledge of First Nation peoples cultural diversity, histories and perspectives through language, literacy, art and community engagement. Our practice acknowledges the wealth of learning and experience that is present within local First Nations community groups and Wurundjeri Elders.   Â
We believe that respectfully sharing our understanding and learnings of the histories and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples will educate and engage families, children, and staff on the road to reconciliation.       Â
