Sesame Lane Kippa Ring Regency Street is committed to reconciliation by respectfully embedding both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our programs and environments. We strive to provide an inclusive learning environment that celebrates, acknowledges and pays respect to the First Peoples of Lands across Australia, through respectfully learning and sharing about Australia’s true history.
In this together, we continue to build connections with the First Nations community, actively acknowledging the Traditional Owners of the Land on which our childcare service stands, developing community partnerships and actively listening to and respectfully sharing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives within our service.
Our vision is to holistically embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives across all aspects of our service curriculum to enhance our children's learning journey, where all children can contribute and remain connected to exploring First Peoples’ perspectives within their play. We will nurture a respectful and inclusive environment where we are committed to every child being able to embrace happy and healthy learning opportunities.
We will continue to support children, families, and educators in developing a strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ connections to the Land and the continued significance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, stories and contributions.
