Let The Learning Begin is committed to being a part of the reconciliation process. We believe that having a reconciled Australia will benefit all children, families and the wider community. We strive to ensure our practices and pedagogy include authentic opportunities to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures and histories. We do this in partnership with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Educators will continue to develop both our curriculum and environment to welcoming truth-telling, acknowledge the true histories of Australia and celebrate continuing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Â We will respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives within our practices, and in doing so, will enable us to feel confident that we are actively taking art in the reconciliation movement, and helping to create a strong, reconciled Australia.
