Our vision for reconciliation is all about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous Australians, both within our centre and the broader community. We're actively working to respectfully weave Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures and perspectives into our practices, recognizing their immense value and importance to all people. To achieve this, we strive to build strong relationships with community organizations and Aboriginal community members and Elders from the local First Nations community. We respectfully acknowledge and honour the Darkinjung people, the Traditional Custodians of the Land where we work and play. We also recognize all Aboriginal and Torres Islander peoples who have travelled from other First Nations Lands and now call this Country home. We deeply respect and acknowledge the histories, cultures, and contributions of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, seeing important to our shared national story and identity. True reconciliation requires continuous self-reflection and a forward-thinking approach. We're committed to ongoing learning and professional development, ensuring our actions and plans contribute to a truly reconciled Australia.
