At Peak Sports and Learning Shellharbour, educators and families are dedicated to learning from and with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, especially the Dharawal people, the traditional custodians of our local area. We view reconciliation as an essential component of our program, offering us the opportunity to reflect on and enhance our relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Our vision is to cultivate an appreciation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives among future generations by acknowledging past mistakes and working collaboratively to create a positive future. Reconciliation involves building respectful and constructive relationships between all Australians and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
